History in the Making: Climate Bill and President Barack Obama

“President Obama is Pro- Earth and he wants green house gasses gone “

As President Obama pushes promotion for greener response towards energy conservation, he urges the senate to pass the Climate bill. This has been the most sweeping bill ever to address global warming (good thing!). Some People consider this as “ambitious policy maneuver” but as long as it is for mother earth, it’s justifiable. It’s the first time to restrict greenhouse gases emissions in a country.

The bill has been passed in house with just seven vote’s tougher battle in the senate. The Obama knows about it that’s why he switched he’s address to climate change.

This is what he said which I say, another quotation that will be marked in our history books;

‘’We cannot be afraid of the future; we must not be prisoners of the past. Don’t believe the misinformation out there that suggests there is somehow a contradiction between investing in clean energy and economic growth. It's just not true."

Climate Bill Impact

The bill would encourage alternative energy like wind and geothermal energy and Solar. This will also weaken the nation’s dependency on fossil fuel from Arab like countries Saudi Arabia and Iran. It is also speculated it will costs each American household 80-175$ a year or more. But as far as the earth is concern, is a $175 really that much in saving the earth?

Pro’s and Cons

Some legislator suggests the bill is Job creating revolution. This is a history for American people. This is the American people are calling for.
But for me, I believe this not only a moment of history for America but a moment for the rest of the world to think not of one’s pocket rather to think of our generations’ legacy to the next generation - Earth.

Another legislator said that; this bill would turn off the lights of America. For me it’s not,some sacrifices including financial aspects are necessary to save our atmosphere and the world as a whole.

Can the companies around the world take a pause and think not of the profits and sometime think of what it will contribute to the world?

Opinion

Personally, I agree with the bill and its attached policy.This is another leap for mother earth. It’s a bill worth emulating in all nations’ of the world to stop the threat of global warming. I salute you, President Obama; continue making good policies and history not just for your people but also for the rest of the world.
